Olufemi Aiyegoro
Mrs. Olufemi Aiyegoro is a seasoned marriage and family counsellor, public health
professional, and clinical practitioner with decades of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families across diverse cultural and social contexts.
Her work is grounded in a holistic, biopsychosocial approach to care, integrating
emotional well-being, relational health, physical health education, and systems-based interventions. She has a particular interest in strengthening family systems, addressing
relational distress, and supporting individuals navigating life transitions, chronic stress,
and interpersonal challenges.
Mrs. Aiyegoro holds professional training as a nurse and midwife and earned a Bachelor
of Science in Health Education and a Master’s degree in Public Health. She is a certified practitioner in Family Systems Engineering, applying structured systems-thinking and evidence-informed frameworks to family and couple counselling.
She is the founder of Joyful Connections, a relationship counselling and psychoeducational service that provides structured support for individuals, couples, and families seeking to improve communication, emotional safety, relational functioning, and overall quality of life. Mrs. Aiyegoro conceptualises relationships as dynamic systems of connection characterised by care, mutual understanding, emotional attunement, and support. Her clinical approach prioritises strengthening these connections to promote resilience, psychological well-being, and sustainable relational health.
She has been married for over 37 years and brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with families across the lifespan.
